Application Thread rolling machines

FEDA dies are engineered for specific customer applications ranging from standard thread profiles to high precision ball screw, lead screw, and spline applications.

Thread rolling dies are used in in feed and through feed processes. The processing method is different, and the thread rolling dies used is also different.

There are generally two processing methods for thread rolling wheels, one is grinding, the other is rolling. The surface of dies is carburized, the hardness of finished thread rolling dies is usually about 57-61 HRC. The hardness of the workpiece it processes is generally below 35HRC, If higher than 35HRC, the life of ordinary thread rollers will be shortened, then need to use better material rolling dies, such as DC53, HSS.
